In 2021 I had the honor of publishing a book of photographs of the Blashka Glass Flowers at the Harvard Museums of Science. With a shared Czech ancestry, I approached the photographic work of documenting this unsurpassed artist's collection of glass  botanical marvels as a world building exercise. I imagined the Blashka's movements across terrains, their discovery of the plants in the wild, and thier cultural underpinnings of each specimine. I researched each plants' native habitat, and mimicked traces of that light, tone and color in our studio shoots of the delicate, hand blown glass works.
